Give whatever amount you can to charitable causes.

This hadith speaks about the power of giving charity, even if it is small. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that the Prophet Muhammad said that if someone gives a Sadaqa equivalent to a date from their earnings earned honestly, Allah would accept it with His Right Hand and foster it like one would foster their colt until it becomes bigger than a mountain. This hadith teaches us that no matter how small our charity may be, Allah will accept and reward us for our good deeds. We should not underestimate the power of giving in charity as even the smallest amount can have great rewards in this life and in the hereafter.
