The Importance of Charity

SUMMARY: The Prophet of Allah encourages people to give charity even if it is from their own jewellery.

A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Zainab the wife of 'Abdullah, and she said: I was in the mosque and the Prophet of Allah saw me and said: Give Sadaqa even though it is out of your jewellery. The rest of the hadith is the same.

QUICK LESSONS:
Give sadaqa even though it is out of your jewellery
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of giving charity, even if it is from one's own jewellery. It was narrated by Zainab, the wife of 'Abdullah, who said that she was in a mosque when the Prophet saw her and encouraged her to give charity. This hadith teaches us that we should be generous with our wealth and possessions and not be stingy or selfish with them. We should always remember that whatever we have is a blessing from Allah and He has given us these blessings so that we can use them to help others in need. Furthermore, this hadith also reminds us that giving charity does not necessarily mean donating money; it can also include donating items such as jewellery or other possessions which may be valuable to someone else but are no longer useful for ourselves.
