Visit graves with respect & humility; Pray & ask Allah's forgiveness on behalf of loved ones who have passed away; Remember death & strive towards eternal life in the hereafter by doing good deeds in this world; Seek permission from Allah before visiting a grave.

The Prophet Muhammad visited the grave of his mother and wept, which moved those around him to tears. He said that he asked Allah for permission to forgive her but it was not granted, however he was given permission to visit her grave. This hadith teaches us that visiting graves is important because it reminds us of death and the afterlife. It serves as a reminder that life on earth is temporary and we must strive for eternal life in the hereafter by doing good deeds in this world. We should also remember our loved ones who have passed away by visiting their graves with respect and humility, praying for them, and asking Allah for forgiveness on their behalf.
