This hadith speaks to the importance of women participating in religious activities and gatherings. It was narrated by Um ‘Atiya that they were ordered to come out on the Day of ‘Id, even bringing out virgin girls from their houses and menstruating women so that they could stand behind the men and say Takbir along with them.
