EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of keeping promises made to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ asked his followers to take an oath of allegiance and promised not to lament. Only five people were able to fulfill this promise; these people were known as Umm Sulaim, Umm al-'Ala', and the daughter of Abu Sabra who was also married to Mu’adh. This hadith teaches us that it is important for us as Muslims to keep our promises no matter how difficult it may be because we are accountable for our actions in front of Allah SWT. It also shows us how important it is for us as Muslims to have faith in Allah SWT and trust Him even when things don’t go according to plan or when we face difficulties in life.
