Reciting "There is no god but Allah" at the Time of Death

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised to recite the phrase "There is no god but Allah" to those who are dying.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger as saying: Exhort to recite" There is no god but Allah" to those of you who are dying.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ، ابْنَا أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، قَالُوا جَمِيعًا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لَقِّنُوا مَوْتَاكُمْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised that when someone is close to death, they should be encouraged to recite the phrase “There is no god but Allah”. This phrase is known as the Kalimah Tayyibah and it expresses a person’s belief in monotheism and their acceptance of Islam as their religion. It also serves as a reminder for them that they should focus on God and His mercy in their last moments. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us about how important it is for us to help others even in difficult times such as death. We should strive to make sure that those around us are able to die with faith and peace of mind by reminding them of God’s greatness and mercy.
