Sharing an Oven with the Prophet and Learning Surah Qaf

SUMMARY: The hadith is about Umm Hisham bin Harithah bin An-Nu'man's experience of sharing an oven with the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and learning Surah Qaf from him.

It was narrated that Umm Hisham bin Harithah bin An-Nu'man said: "Our oven and the oven of the Messenger of Allah were the same for two years, or for one year and part of a year. And I only learned "Surah Qaf. By the Glorious Quran" from the tongue of the Messenger of Allah , who used to recited it every Friday from the Minbar, when he addresses the people".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Umm Hisham bin Harithah bin An-Nu'man's experience of sharing an oven with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for two years or one year and part of a year. During this time, she learned to recite "Surah Qaf" from him every Friday when he addressed people in his sermon. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to learn more about our religion, even if it is just one verse at a time. It also shows us how important it is to be humble and generous, as the Prophet ﷺ was willing to share his oven with someone else despite being a leader of his people. Finally, it reminds us that we should always strive to do good deeds on Fridays as this was something that was very important for the Prophet ﷺ himself.
