EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of moderation in prayer and sermon. The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was known for his moderate length of prayer and sermon. He would not make his prayers or sermons too long or too short, but instead he would keep them at a moderate length that was neither too long nor too short. This teaches us the importance of moderation in our lives; we should strive to find balance between extremes so that we can live our lives with purpose and meaning. We should also strive to find balance between our spiritual life and worldly life so that we can be successful both spiritually and materially.
