Doing Things Four Times

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that if someone wants to do something, they should do it four times.

This hadith has been narrated by Abdullah b. Mughaffal by another chain of transmitters, but with this variation that he (the Holy Prophet) said at the fourth time: " He who wishes (may do to)".
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ‏.‏ مِثْلَهُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ ‏ "‏ لِمَنْ شَاءَ

This hadith is about the importance of repetition and taking action multiple times. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that if someone wants to do something, they should do it four times. It also teaches us the importance of perseverance and dedication in order to achieve our goals.
