Praying Two Rak'ahs Before Dawn and After 'Asr

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) always prayed two rak'ahs before dawn and two rak'ahs after 'Asr in the house of 'A'isha.

'A'isha reported: Two are the prayers which the Messenger of Allah always observed in my house-openly or secretly-two rak'ahs before the dawn and two rak'ahs after the 'Asr.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ صَلاَتَانِ مَا تَرَكَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فِي بَيْتِي قَطُّ سِرًّا وَلاَ عَلاَنِيَةً رَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ
