Sahih Muslim 830a (Book 6, Hadith 355) #9080
Guarding Prayers for Double Rewards

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) led the Asr prayer at Mukhammas and reminded his followers that those who guard their prayers will be rewarded twice. He also warned them that no prayer is valid after the evening star appears.

Abu Basra Ghifari reported: The Messenger of Allah led us in the 'Asr prayer at (the place known as) Mukhammas, and then said: This prayer was presented to those gone before you, but they lost it, and he who guards it has two rewards in store for him. And no prayer is valid after till the onlooker appears (by onlooker is meant the evening star).
