Praying at Sunrise and Sunset

SUMMARY: It is advised to not pray at the time of sunrise or sunset as it is a time when Satan is active.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger as saying: Do not intend to observe prayer at the time of the rising of the sun nor at its setting, for it rises between the horns of Satan.

This hadith advises us to avoid praying during sunrise and sunset, as these are times when Satan is active. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned us against this, so that we can protect ourselves from any harm that may come our way due to his influence. We should be mindful of this advice and take it seriously, as it was given by someone who was very close to Allah SWT. We should also remember that prayer is an important part of our faith, so we should make sure that we are praying in a safe environment where there will be no interference from Shaytan or any other negative influences.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us about the importance of being mindful in all aspects of life, including our prayers. He reminded us that even though Shaytan may try to interfere with our prayers, we must remain steadfast in our faith and continue doing what is right regardless of what he tries to do or say. By following this advice, we can ensure that our prayers are accepted by Allah SWT and benefit from His blessings accordingly.
