EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of speaking positively or remaining silent when witnessing something. Believing in Allah and the Hereafter requires us to think before we speak and ensure that our words are beneficial for ourselves and others. We should not spread rumors or gossip about people as this can lead to negative consequences for both parties involved. Instead, we should strive to use our words wisely by speaking kindly and truthfully at all times. This hadith also teaches us that it is better to remain silent than to say something hurtful or damaging which could have a lasting impact on someone’s life.
