This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's reciting one third of the Qur'an to his companions. It is a reminder that we should strive to recite and understand as much of the Qur'an as possible. The Prophet's example shows us that it is important for us to take time out of our day and dedicate it towards understanding and reflecting on Allah's words in order to gain spiritual guidance. Additionally, this hadith also serves as an encouragement for us to read more from the Qur'an so that we can benefit from its teachings and become closer with Allah.
