EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the power of reciting two verses from Surah al-Baqara at night. Abu Mas'ud and 'Abd al-Rahman reported that Allah's Messenger said that if anyone recites these two verses, they would suffice for him. These two verses are found in the last part of Surah Al Baqarah, which is one of the longest chapters in the Quran. It is believed that these two verses contain a great deal of blessings and protection for those who recite them regularly, especially during nighttime hours when darkness prevails and evil forces are more active. Therefore, it is recommended to recite these two verses every night before going to bed as a form of protection against any harm or danger that may come our way during our sleep or throughout our day ahead.
