The Night Prayer of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) observed thirteen rak'ahs of prayer at night.

Abu Jamra reported: I heard Ibn 'Abbas saying that the Messenger of Allah observed thirteen rak'ahs at night.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي جَمْرَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً

EXPLANATIONS:
According to a hadith reported by Abu Jamra, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to observe thirteen rak'ahs of prayer at night. This is an example of how devoted and dedicated he was to his faith and how important it was for him to stay connected with Allah through prayer. He showed us that even in our busiest times, we should make time for Allah and dedicate ourselves to Him through prayer. This hadith also teaches us that we should strive to pray as much as possible, especially during the night when it is more peaceful and easier for us to focus on our prayers.
