The Importance of Observing Witr Before Morning

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructed his companions to observe Witr before morning.

Abu Sa'id reported that they (some of the Companions) of the Prophet asked the Messenger of Allah about Witr. He said: Observe Witr before morning.
وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو نَضْرَةَ الْعَوَقِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ، أَخْبَرَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ، سَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ عَنِ الْوِتْرِ فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ أَوْتِرُوا قَبْلَ الصُّبْحِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of observing Witr, which is a special prayer that Muslims perform at night. It is an obligation for all Muslims to perform this prayer and it should be done before morning. This hadith was narrated by Abu Sa'id, one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. By performing this prayer, Muslims are able to strengthen their faith and connection with Allah SWT as well as increase their spiritual awareness and understanding of Islam. Additionally, it serves as a reminder for us to stay away from sins and bad deeds during the night time hours when we are more likely to be tempted by them. Furthermore, it helps us stay focused on our goals in life and strive towards achieving them in a righteous manner.
