The Prophet's Sleep Habits

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known to sleep in or near the house of 'A'isha during the early hours of dawn.

'A'isha reported: Never did the earlier part of the dawn find the Messenger of Allah but sleeping in my house or near me.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ مَا أَلْفَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ السَّحَرُ الأَعْلَى فِي بَيْتِي - أَوْ عِنْدِي - إِلاَّ نَائِمًا
