The Importance of Sunnah Prayers at Dawn

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed two rak'ahs of Sunnah prayers at dawn.

Hafsa reported: When the dawn appeared, the Messenger of Allah observed two rak'ahs (of Sunnah prayers).
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَخْبَرَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ إِذَا أَضَاءَ لَهُ الْفَجْرُ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ
