QUICK LESSONS:
Pay your debts on time

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of paying back debts and how it can be rewarded with prayer. It was narrated by Jabir b. 'Abdullah, who reported that the Prophet Muhammad owed him a debt which he paid back and made an addition to it as well. In response, the Prophet asked Jabir to observe two rak'ahs of prayer in the mosque as a reward for his repayment of the debt. This hadith teaches us that we should always pay our debts on time, as Allah rewards those who do so with blessings from Him in this world and hereafter. Moreover, it also shows us that even small acts such as paying off our debts can be rewarded if done out of sincerity towards Allah's will and pleasure; thus reminding us that no good deed goes unnoticed by Him!
