QUICK LESSONS:
Perform two rak’ahs of nafil prayer when entering a mosque
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith encourages Muslims to perform two rak’ahs of nafl prayer when entering a mosque. A nafl prayer is an optional prayer that can be performed at any time and is not obligatory like the five daily prayers. It is recommended for Muslims to enter the mosque with humility and respect and begin their visit with two rak’ahs of nafl prayer as a sign of reverence for Allah. This hadith also serves as an example for Muslims on how they should conduct themselves when visiting mosques or other places where Allah's name is mentioned or worshipped. By performing these two rak’ahs before sitting down in the mosque, one shows respect for Allah and His house by beginning their visit with supplication and worship.
