Sahih Muslim 707a (Book 6, Hadith 69) #8794
Turning Right After Prayer

SUMMARY: We should not give a share to Satan and should only turn to the right after prayer.

Abdullah reported: None of you should give a share to Satan out of your self. He should not deem that it is necessary for him to turn but to the right only (after prayer). I saw the Messenger of Allah turning to the left.

Turn towards right side after praying
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of turning to the right after prayer. It was narrated by Abdullah, who reported that none of us should give a share to Satan out of our selves. He also said that we should not think it is necessary for us to turn but only towards the right after prayer. He saw the Messenger of Allah turning towards his left side. This hadith teaches us that we must be mindful and conscious in our prayers, and make sure we are turning in the correct direction afterwards. We must also be aware of any temptations from Satan, as he will try to lead us astray if given an opportunity.
