Combining Prayers During Tabuk Expedition

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) combined the noon and afternoon prayers, as well as the sunset and 'Isha' prayers during the Tabuk expedition.

Mu'adh reported: We set out with the Messenger of Allah on the Tabuk expedition, and he observed the noon and afternoon prayers together and the sunset and 'Isha' prayers together.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ، عَامِرٍ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ، قَالَ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَكَانَ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ جَمِيعًا وَالْمَغْرِبَ وَالْعِشَاءَ جَمِيعًا

During the Tabuk expedition, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ combined his noon and afternoon prayers together, as well as his sunset and 'Isha' prayers together. This hadith teaches us that we should prioritize our tasks in order to make sure that all of our duties are fulfilled in a timely manner.
