EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of prayer and how it should be done no matter what direction one is facing. It was reported by Abdullah b. Dinar on the authority of Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah used to observe prayer on his ride in which direction it had its face turned. Furthermore, Abdullah b. Dinar said that Ibn 'Umar used to do like that as well, indicating that this practice was not only encouraged but also practiced by those closest to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself. This shows us how important prayer is for Muslims and how we must make sure to perform our prayers even if we are travelling or in a rush; there are no excuses when it comes to fulfilling our obligations as Muslims!
