The Reward of Attending Mosque

SUMMARY: Going to the mosque in the morning or evening will be rewarded with a feast in Paradise.

Ata' b. Yasar reported, on the authority of Abu Huraira, the Messenger of Allah as saying: He who went towards the mosque in the morning or evening, Allah would arrange a feast for him morning or evening in Paradise.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ‏ "‏ مَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ أَوْ رَاحَ أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ نُزُلاً كُلَّمَا غَدَا أَوْ رَاحَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how attending mosque can be rewarding for Muslims. It was narrated by Ata' b. Yasar on the authority of Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad said that whoever goes to the mosque in either morning or evening will be rewarded with a feast in paradise. This hadith encourages Muslims to attend mosques regularly and reminds them of Allah's mercy and generosity towards those who obey Him and follow His commands. It also teaches us that our good deeds are not forgotten by Allah and He rewards us for our efforts even if it is something as small as going to the mosque regularly.
