Observe prayer at its prescribed time .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of praying at its prescribed time and not to delay it. It was narrated by Abu'l-'Aliyat al-Bara who reported that Ibn Ziyad delayed the prayer and Abdullah b. Samit came to him and he mentioned what Ibn Ziyad did which made Abdullah angry as he bit his lips in annoyance and struck at his thigh. He then told him that he asked Abu Dharr about this matter before who also struck his thigh in anger when asked about it as he said that he asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as well who also struck his thigh in anger when asked about it and said “Observe prayer at its prescribed time, and if you can say prayer along with them do so, but do not say I have observed prayer so I shall not pray”. This hadith teaches us how important it is for us to pray on time without any delays or excuses because Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself was very strict on this matter which shows how important this act is for our faith as Muslims.
