Delaying the Last Isha Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delayed the last Isha prayer.

Jabir b. Samura reported that the Messenger of Allah postponed the last 'Isha' prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يُؤَخِّرُ صَلاَةَ الْعِشَاءِ الآخِرَةِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of delaying the last Isha prayer until a late hour at night. It is reported that Jabir b. Samura witnessed this practice of delaying the last Isha prayer and reported it to others. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our time and not waste it, as well as to be patient in our prayers and not rush them. We should also strive to pray on time, but if we are unable to do so due to circumstances beyond our control, then we should still strive for patience and understanding in such situations.
