The Benefits of Using Siwak Before Prayers

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged the use of Siwak for cleaning teeth before every prayer.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "If I had not found it hard for my followers or the people, I would have ordered them to clean their teeth with Siwak for every prayer".

QUICK LESSONS:
Use a siwk before prayers

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, encouraged the use of a special twig called a siwak for cleaning teeth before every prayer. This is because it is important to keep our bodies and mouths clean when we pray to Allah. It is also said that using siwaks can help prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Additionally, it has been reported that the Prophet Muhammad used to use a siwak himself before each prayer as an act of worship and devotion to Allah. Therefore, Muslims should strive to follow his example by using a siwak before each prayer in order to maintain good oral hygiene and show their love for Allah through this act of worship.
