Sahih Muslim 632a (Book 5, Hadith 265) #8579
Angels Watching Over Us

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that angels are constantly around us, watching over us and taking turns to protect us. They report back to Allah (SWT) about our actions.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah said: Angels take turns among you by night and by day, and they all assemble at the dawn and afternoon prayers. Those (of the angels) who spend the night among you, then, ascend, and their Lord asks them, though He is the best informed about them: How did you leave My servants? -they say: We left them while they were praying and we came to them while they were praying.

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly, Strive for good deeds

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith of Abu Huraira teaches us that we are never alone; there are always angels around us, taking turns to watch over and protect us. These angels report back to Allah about our actions, so it is important for Muslims to remember that they should always be striving for good deeds in order to please their Lord. This hadith also encourages Muslims to pray regularly as the angels assemble at the dawn and afternoon prayers. It is a reminder of how much importance should be placed on prayer in Islam as it is an opportunity for believers to connect with their Creator and ask for His guidance and mercy.
