Punishment for Diverting from Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was angry at the people who diverted him from his prayer and wished that Allah would punish them.

'Ali reported: The Messenger of Allah said: On the day (of the Battle) of Ahzab we were diverted from the middle prayer, till the sun set. May Allah fill their graves or their houses, or their stomachs with fire. The narrator is in doubt about" houses" and" stomachs".

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly without being distracted by anything else

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prayer in Islam. It tells us that if we are diverted from our prayers, Allah will punish us severely. The Prophet Muhammad was so angry at those who diverted him from his prayer on the day of Ahzab that he wished Allah would fill their graves, houses or stomachs with fire. This shows how important it is to stay focused on our prayers and not be distracted by anything else. We should always strive to make sure we are praying properly and not letting anything get in the way of it.
