QUICK LESSONS:
Be mindful and punctual when performing prayers; accept mistakes humbly without hesitation or pride; repent immediately upon realizing one's mistake .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith highlights the importance of prayer in Islam. It is narrated by Imran b. Husain that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was performing his 'Asr prayer when a man reminded him that he had forgotten to perform one rak'ah. Upon being reminded, the Prophet got up and performed the missed rak'ah with two prostrations of forgetfulness as an act of repentance for forgetting to pray it in its due time. This incident shows us how important it is for Muslims to be mindful and punctual when performing their prayers, as even our beloved Prophet did not take this obligation lightly and immediately repented upon being reminded about his mistake. Furthermore, this incident also teaches us about humility; despite being a prophet sent by Allah, Muhammad PBUH did not hesitate or feel embarrassed when he was corrected but instead accepted his mistake and repented for it right away without any hesitation or pride getting in his way.
