QUICK LESSONS:
Perform two prostrations before saluting someone
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of performing two prostrations before saluting someone or saying goodbye to them. It is a sign of respect and humility that Muslims should practice when they are leaving someone's presence or bidding farewell to them. The hadith has been narrated by Zaid b. Aslam and Sulaiman b. Bilal who were both companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and it is believed that this was a practice taught by him as well as other prophets before him in order to show respect for one another in the community. Performing two prostrations also serves as an act of worship towards Allah SWT since it shows humility towards Him as well as His creation which He loves dearly.
