Generosity and Kindness in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us to be generous and kind to others.

A hadith like this has been narrated from the Messenger of Allah on the authority of Ibn 'Umar with another chain of transmitters.
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسٌ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ عِيَاضٍ - عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا الصَّلْتُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ بِنَحْوِهِ
