Sahih al-Bukhari 866 (Book 10, Hadith 257) #837
Prayer Etiquette

SUMMARY: Women should end their prayers with Taslim and men should stay in their places until the Prophet (ﷺ) gets up.

Narrated Um Salama: (the wife of the Prophet) In the lifetime of Allah's Messenger the women used to get up when they finished their compulsory prayers with Taslim. The Prophet and the men would stay on at their places as long as Allah will. When the Prophet got up, the men would then get up.

QUICK LESSONS:
End your prayers with 'Tasim'
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about prayer etiquette. It teaches us that when women finish their compulsory prayers, they should say ‘Taslim’ to end it. Men on the other hand, should stay in their places until the Prophet (ﷺ) gets up. This shows us that we must be respectful and follow proper etiquette during our prayers. We must also be patient and wait for others to finish before we get up from our place of prayer.
