Sahih al-Bukhari 861 (Book 10, Hadith 252) #832
Joining Prayers at Mina

SUMMARY: The hadith is about a young boy, Ibn Abbas, who was allowed to join the prayer at Mina without any objection from the people.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Once I came riding a she-ass and I, then, had just attained the age of puberty. Allah's Messenger was leading the people in prayer at Mina facing no wall. I passed in front of the row and let loose the she-ass for grazing and joined the row and no one objected to my deed.

QUICK LESSONS:
Join prayers even if you are not mature enough as long as you don't cause any disruption or distraction during prayer time .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident of a young boy named Ibn 'Abbas who was riding on a she-ass and he had just attained puberty. He passed in front of the row while Allah's Messenger was leading the people in prayer at Mina facing no wall. He let loose his she-ass for grazing and joined the row without anyone objecting to his deed. This shows that it is permissible for children to join prayers even if they are not mature enough as long as they do not cause any disruption or distraction during prayer time. It also teaches us that we should be tolerant towards others and accept them regardless of their age or maturity level.
