QUICK LESSONS:
Wear appropriate clothing for prayer
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of having two garments when praying. The inquirer asked the Messenger of Allah about whether it was permissible to pray in a single garment, and he replied that everyone should have two garments. This hadith teaches us that we should be properly dressed when we are supplicating or requesting something from Allah. It is important to show respect and humility when communicating with Allah, and this includes wearing appropriate clothing for prayer. We must also remember that our clothing should not be too extravagant or showy as this can distract us from focusing on our prayers. Furthermore, it is important to remember that even if we do not have two garments, we can still pray as long as our clothing covers all of our body parts appropriately according to Islamic teachings.
