Praying Together in Unity

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed the Tahajjud prayer during the night and woke up his wife Aisha to pray Witr with him.

'A'isha reported: The Apostle of Allah said his whole prayer (Tahajjud prayer) during the night while I lay between him and the Qibla. When he intended to say Witr (prayer) he awakened me and I too said witr (prayer).

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray together in unity

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of praying together in unity. It was narrated by Aisha that the Prophet Muhammad would pray his Tahajjud prayer during the night while she lay between him and the Qibla. When it was time for him to say Witr prayer he would wake her up so they could both pray together. This hadith teaches us that praying together is a sign of unity and strengthens our relationship with Allah SWT. It also shows us how important it is to be considerate of others when we are engaging in religious activities such as salah or any other form of worship. We should always try to include our family members or friends when we are performing these acts so that we can all benefit from them spiritually and emotionally.
