Praying Facing a Camel

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) used to pray while facing his camel.

Ibn 'Umar reported: The Apostle of Allah used to say prayer towards his camel. Ibn Numair said: The Apostle of Allah said prayer towards the camel.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ، نُمَيْرٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ يُصَلِّي إِلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى إِلَى بَعِيرٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of praying towards his camel. It is narrated by both Ibn 'Umar and Ibn Numair, two companions of the Prophet. This hadith teaches us that we should be mindful of our actions even when we are in the presence of animals, as they too can benefit from our good deeds. We should also remember that prayer is an important part of our faith and it should be done with respect and reverence no matter where we are or what we are doing.
