Follow Islamic Practices Correctly During Prayer

The hadith of Ibn 'Abbas states that the Prophet Muhammad was commanded by Allah to prostrate on seven bones. This means that when performing salah, one must ensure that their forehead, nose, both hands, both knees and both feet are touching the ground. Additionally, it is forbidden for a person to fold back their hair or clothing while in prostration as this would break the continuity of the prayer. This hadith teaches us about the importance of following Islamic practices correctly in order to gain maximum benefit from them. It also reminds us of our duty as Muslims to be mindful of our actions during prayer and not let anything distract us from worshipping Allah properly.
