Reciting the Quran During Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade reciting the Quran while in a state of bowing and prostration.

'Ali b. Abi Talib reported: The Messenger of Allah forbade to recite the Qur'an, while I am in the state of bowing and prostration.
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلاَءِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ كَثِيرٍ - حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، يَقُولُ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ وَأَنَا رَاكِعٌ أَوْ سَاجِدٌ
