The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known for his compassion and mercy towards all people, especially children. This hadith shows us that even during prayer, the Prophet was willing to pause and recite a short surah or ayat to comfort a child who was crying in the presence of their mother. This teaches us that we should always be mindful of those around us and be willing to help them out whenever possible.
