Devotion to Allah's Worship

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was so devoted to Allah's worship that he hurriedly left the prayer to distribute a piece of gold in charity.

Narrated 'Uqba: I offered the 'Asr prayer behind the Prophet at Medina. When he had finished the prayer with Taslim, he got up hurriedly and went out by crossing the rows of the people to one of the dwellings of his wives. The people got scared at his speed . The Prophet came back and found the people surprised at his haste and said to them, "I remembered a piece of gold Lying in my house and I did not like it to divert my attention from Allah's worship, so I have ordered it to be distributed (in charity).

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the devotion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ towards Allah's worship. He was so devoted that when he remembered a piece of gold lying in his house during prayer time, he immediately got up and left the prayer to distribute it in charity. This shows us how important it is for us to be devoted and dedicated towards our worship of Allah. We should not let anything distract us from worshipping Him and remembering Him at all times. We should also remember that charity is an important part of our faith as Muslims and we should always strive to give whatever we can in order to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
