Sahih Muslim 466a (Book 4, Hadith 206) #8211
Being Brief in Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was very angry when he heard that someone was scaring people away from the morning prayer by leading it for too long. He advised those who lead the prayer to be brief, as there are weak, aged and busy people behind them.

Abu Mas'ud al-Ainsari reported: A person came to the Messenger of Allah and said: I keep away from the morning prayer on account of such and such (a man), because; he keeps us so long. I never saw God's Messenger more angry when giving an exhortation than he was that day. He said: 0 people, some of you are scaring people away. So whoever of you leads the people in prayer he must be brief, for behind him are the weak, the aged, and the people who have (argent) business to attend.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about being brief in prayer. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was very angry when he heard that someone was scaring people away from the morning prayer by leading it for too long. He advised those who lead the prayer to be brief, as there are weak, aged and busy people behind them who may not have enough time or energy to stand for a long period of time during prayers. This hadith teaches us that we should always be considerate of others while performing our religious duties and not make them difficult or tiring for anyone else. We should also remember that everyone has different needs and abilities so we must take this into account when performing any religious duty such as praying or fasting.
