QUICK LESSONS:
Make supplications with moderation
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of moderation when making supplications to Allah. It is reported by 'A'isha that Allah's words "And utter not thy prayer loudly, nor be low in it" refer to supplication. This means that one should neither make their supplications too loud nor too quiet; rather they should be done in a moderate manner. The lesson here is that we must always strive for balance and moderation in our actions and words, especially when speaking to or about Allah. We must remember to show respect and reverence for Him at all times.
