EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about allowing women to go to the mosque during the night. The narrator, Ibn 'Umar, was narrating this hadith from the Messenger of Allah and his son Waqid said that it would lead to mischief. However, Ibn 'Umar thumped his chest and reminded him that he was narrating a hadith from the Messenger of Allah and should not be saying no. This hadith teaches us that we should respect our elders and follow their advice even if we do not agree with them because they have more experience than us. It also teaches us that women should be allowed access into mosques during nights as long as they are respectful and follow Islamic rules while inside.
