EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance and power of prayer in Islam. It is narrated by Muhammad b. Rafi', Abu'I-Razzaq, Ma'mar, Hammam on the authority of Abu Huraira with an addition to the word “prayer”. Prayer is one of the five pillars in Islam and it is obligatory for all Muslims to perform it five times a day at specific times throughout each day. It serves as a reminder for us to stay connected with Allah and thank Him for His blessings upon us. Through prayer we can ask Allah for guidance and help in our lives as well as seek forgiveness from Him when we make mistakes or do wrong deeds. Furthermore, it helps us stay focused on our goals and be mindful that everything comes from Allah alone so we should always be grateful to Him no matter what situation we are in or how difficult life may seem at times.
