Teaching Tashahhud Like a Sura of the Qur'an

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught his companions the tashahhud as he would teach them a Sura of the Qur'an.

Tawus narrated it on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas that he said: The Messenger of Allah used to teach us tashahhud as he would teach us a Sura of the Qur'an.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known for teaching his companions about Islam and its teachings. One such teaching was tashahhud which is an Arabic phrase that Muslims recite during their prayers. He taught it to them in a similar way to how he would teach them a Sura from the Quran - with great care and attention to detail. This hadith shows us how important it is for us to learn our religious teachings properly and with dedication so that we can practice our faith correctly and benefit from it in our lives.
