QUICK LESSONS:
Show respect and courtesy no matter what you are doing or who you are interacting with. Be mindful of your words and actions so that they reflect the teachings of Islam.

EXPLANATIONS:
In Islam, respect is of utmost importance. This hadith shows us that even when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was busy with something as mundane as making water, he still showed respect to those around him by not responding to their salutation. This teaches us that we should always show respect and courtesy no matter what we are doing or who we are interacting with. We should also be mindful of our words and actions so that they reflect the teachings of Islam.
