Purification Through Tanning

SUMMARY: The Messenger of Allah said that when the skin is tanned, it becomes purified.

Abdullah b. Abbas said: I heard the Messenger of Allah say: When the skin is tanned it becomes purified.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ وَعْلَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ إِذَا دُبِغَ الإِهَابُ فَقَدْ طَهُرَ
