Show respect towards elders . Wait patiently for things to happen in their own time .

This hadith is about Umm Habiba b. Jahsh who went to visit the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and told him that she had been a mustahada for seven years. A mustahada is someone who has not experienced their menstrual cycle yet, so in this case it means that she was still young at this time. The Prophet ﷺ then asked her if she saw any signs of her menstrual cycle coming soon, and she said yes, that there was a redness of blood over water which indicated that her period would be coming soon. This hadith teaches us about patience and waiting for things to happen in their own time; even though Umm Habiba b. Jahsh wanted her period to come quickly so she could become an adult woman, Allah's timing is perfect and it will come when it needs to come without any rush or worry from us humans! It also teaches us about being respectful towards our elders; even though Umm Habiba b. Jahsh was still young herself, she showed respect by visiting the Prophet ﷺ with her question instead of asking someone else or trying to figure out the answer on her own first!
